Why is it Mom's Fault???

Why is it Mom's Fault???

Three and a half years ago, my mother gave two of my children each a lanyard, and 12 pins. Six pins were for them to keep, and six were for them to give away to another child in the park that had a lanyard, but maybe only one or two pins on it.

I told my Mom this was something I DID NOT want to start getting involved in ~ I DID NOT want any more reasons to spend money at Disney!! She told me the lanyard and pins weren't for me, but for her grand kids, and they were free, and I didn't have to pay for it, so stay out of it! Off they went a pintradin'!

Well my daughter traded for ~ the Mickey Wearing a Lanyard Trading a Pin .... (Pin 11063: Mickey & Minnie Pin Trading Starter Set (Mickey) . ....I thought it was awfully cute and asked her if maybe I could have it....... She immediately gave it to me (being the sweetest little girl ever born to a mother!!!)....... and ............I have been hooked ever since!......AND .....I AM spending more money on Disney on pins than I thought imaginable!!

The one thing that is rather unbelievable to this whole story is my "Mom Who Started It All" ......is not even a pin trader!! (She just likes to pass them out to children who do not have very many on their lanyard!)

Got to love my Mom!

My name is Dawn and this Colorado Mountain girl
finds herself living in Florida for the past 24 years!

I am happily married to the most incredible man ever!
Jeff and I celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary in July!
I love my husband dearly and thank God daily for him!

~ We have five wonderful children ~

Samuel:16 The Bride Laraine: 23 Rebekah: 9
John: 25 Daniel: 18

AND A NEW UPDATE!
We also have a WONDERFUL new Son-in-Law!
Mike and Laraine were married in December!

But we had the ceremony just this past May!

I have been homeschooling for 19 years now ~
And yes ~ it is hard ~ tho easier now that I am only
schooling one~ my 5th grader!!

All the blessings I have in my life
I am incredibly thankful to God for!

I strive everyday to live a Christian life and hope that my life will be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.
